Maurice Henry (M.H.) Zeigler, father of 6 children, needed additional income during the Depression's difficult times. In 1932 he decided to build a cider press in the garage of his row home on Chestnut St. in Lansdale, PA. On Saturdays he and the children would deliver cider door-to-door. Two generations later Zeigler's still ciders are marketed in multiple states. SweetwaterOrchards is proud to be the first internet retailer of their new celebratory sparkling cider, launched in the fall of 2009. 100% juice from Fresh Apples. This cider is a traditional favorite blend of both Red Delicious and Winesap apples grown throughout the Appalachian Mountains including the western part of the state.
