Maurice Henry (M.H.) Zeigler, father of 6 children, needed additional income during the Depression's difficult times. In 1932 he decided to build a cider press in the garage of his row home on Chestnut St. in Lansdale, PA. On Saturdays he and the children would deliver cider door-to-door. Two generations later Zeigler's still ciders are marketed in multiple states.
